KRAFTERS
The Krafters are a team of 19 individuals from SMILE Village in Phnom Penh, Cambodia who used to live in the slumps. After being relocated to SMILE Village, they picked up sustainable skills like sewing and woodwork. In collaboration with Design For Good, they learn, practice and develop handicraft to achieve financial independence.
XSCAPE
Xscape disabilities is a student-initiated project, dedicated to changing the perspectives of the community towards individuals. Under Design For Good, they are able to learn, grow and establish their entrepreneur skills while giving back to the community. Every purchase is a contribution to promote for a socially inclusive community.
SONDERING SLATE
Driven by the word ‘Sonder’, Sondering Slate is started by 2 youths that enjoy creating and sharing moments. Together with their interest in starting a business, Design For Good gave them an opportunity to learn, explore, and develop their entrepreneur skills, while contributing back to the community. Their T-Shirts capture individuals living in the moment, and every purchase allows children from disadvantaged communities to create and share their own moments through digital arts.
#YOLO2020
#YOLO2020 is started by 3 individuals that share a common mission of raising awareness about mental wellness. They want to encourage and inspire people and organisation to pledge to make someone's life better. In support of their mission, Design For Good works closely with #YOLO2020 to give them a platform to sell their products.
MAKE THE CHANGE
Make The Change is a social enterprise that took on the social entrepreneurship angle to fill in the gaps within the creative community while advocating for a “design for good” culture and mindset. With similar values, Design For Good collaborates with Make The Change to bring their shared ethos to a wider audience.
